Personalised Education

Personalised Education

If required, young adults on the CATCH programme initially are offered an opportunity to progress educationally through the provision of a therapeutic learning experience designed to address identified specific learning difficulties and reduce core educational gaps.

They then progress on to the achievement of a range of externally validated subjects appropriate to their chosen career path, including English, Maths, ICT, Sport and Leisure within a structured learning environment.

Vocational Training

CATCH vocational training packages are bespoke and created around the aspirations, needs and identified stregths of each young person admitted to the programme.

With each placement, CATCH ensures that every young adult gains a real work experience, whether with models coming into the company salon, placement in relevant work situations, continuing Further Education or involvement in Community-Based Projects.  All of these activities are designed to enable young people to put their newly developed vocational skills into action.

CATCH Scotland offers its young adults the opportunity to follow a structured Vocational Training Pathway which leads to them gaining, as appropriate, a Certificate of Work Readiness and a Modern Apprenticeship, before moving on to further education or employment.
